Book Review: Alienation of Affections: A Legal Comedy (Family Court #2) by Portia Porter

This book kept me laughing from the beginning, although there were also some points to remember thrown in there. This story involves an older wealthy woman (Martha Grimm) who wants her philandering husband to just come home (he has been seeing a younger, gold-digging girl). Thrown in is an example of how a television wife, Sue Ellen Ewing, gets her so-called day in court with her philandering husband, J.R. This is exactly what Martha wants – her day in court. As the story unfolds, it is interesting yet humorous how each character unfolds and becomes exactly who they are. It was a fast read and fun as well.
